BIG Metrics

Overview

BIG Metrics is an interactive online application that allows banks to gain profound insight into their income, position, borrowing, credit and performance measures versus their peers or national averages. Look at trends in profitability, loan growth, market share, deposit growth, margins, delinquencies and charge-offs for specific bank entities or several peer groups.

BIG Metrics mines financial and demographic data and presents it in a fashion that allows you to gain critical insights for decision making regarding competitors, marketing, strategy, performance, and compensation. See how your company stacks up against your competitors in growth, profitability and performance measures.

Over 20 reports with over 200 metrics can be viewed using quarterly or annual data. Several peer groups are available for comparison - national, state, asset-band, zipcode, custom banks, and top performing banks. Visual depiction of several measures in time series helps in identifying positive or negative trends. The Strengths and Opportunities report lets you identify the areas that you need to focus on versus your peers. The ROE (Return on Equity) drill-down report allows you to break down the bank and peer-group ROE into its components.

The reports can be easily printed for inclusion in your board or ALCO (Asset and Liability Committee) packages.

Deposit Distribution Maps

Deposit Distribution Maps allow you to view branch level deposits information for any bank in any state. You can drill down from the national level to state, county and zipcode level using a map-based interface.

In addition, demographic information is displayed at the county level. Deposits Distribution Maps are useful in assessing market share in existing markets and potential penetration into new markets.

Demographic information includes population, per capita income, household income, number of households, trade per capita, and median house value.

Performance Rankings

Performance Rankings allow you to view banks ranked by over 20 different measures. You can view banks nationwide or filter them by State or 3 digit zipcode.

Performance Rankings are useful in isolating top-performing peers by different measures so that a bank can compare its own performance to the top performers using BIG Metrics.

Customized Control Panels

Customized Control Panels allow bankers to view bank-specific monthly or quarterly information with online access from anywhere. Now you can have access to detailed information by branch, product or officer. Drill down ability lets you get to the detail at the G/L level. There is no maintenance required by the bank, we update the data. Reports can be easily printed for inclusion in board and ALCO (Asset and Liability Committee) packages. Several pre-designed reports are available and implementation is quick.

Delinquencies Map

Delinquencies Map allows you to view delinquent loans by loan type that are 90 days or more past due or in non-accrual status. Information is aggregated at state level by bank domicile. Banks can also view the most recent charge-offs.

The different loan types are construction, CRE, multi-family, single-family, home-equity, C&I, consumer and credit card.
